Liftoff Brass Band leads a parade through Washington Heights!

From a power funky-brass quartet to a three-horn frontline, and with a host of original arrangements/compositions reflecting a large vision, Liftoff Brass band ranges freely across the New Orleans landscape without losing grip of the New York groove. Influences from Louis 'Satchmo' Armstrong to James Brown to Rebirth to Dirty Dozen Brass band, the music of Liftoff Brass inspired by the greats hailing from New Orleans. Members have performed with with the top performers in music, including Prince! The members of Liftoff Brass enjoy performing at private events, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, BAM, Le Poisson Rouge, Jazz Gallery, Symphony Space, Blue Note, and on TV & Films and international music festivals.
