HONK NYC is thrilled to collaborate with WE Bike NYC (Women’s Empowerment through Bikes)!

Join this sisterhood of cyclists at the northwest side of Queensbridge Park at 11:00am where the HONK family band will be rocking out.

Then it's wheels down at 11:30am to bike to HONK! The Avenue at the Old Stone House to catch femme powerhouse percussionist & bassist Dawn Drake and her band ZapOte. (between 12 pm - 2 pm)

Afterwards, WE'll head over to the Vanderbilt Avenue open street for some food and drinks.

NOTES:

  • This is a social ride mostly on bike lanes. Bring your lock, plus cash for a post-ride beverage.

  • Helmets are required!

  • This event is Citi Bike friendly, please indicate if you will be using a Citi Bike for the ride.

  • This is an all-gender ride open to bicyclists of all experience levels.

WE Bike NYC is a community of women who ride bikes! Our goal is to provide a safe space for women to ride together regardless of skill, speed and riding style. WE Bike NYC is open to all women, female identifying, and gender nonconforming people who enjoy biking (or think they might). WE Bike NYC aims to break down barriers to cycling and build community by offering FREE social rides, training rides, and educational workshops. WE Bike because it’s a great way to get around New York, it’s healthy and it’s FUN!
